Kathy Calmejane
When Kathy was born, her parents chose 3 given names for her, and then proceeded to call her "Tiggy" for the rest of their lives, because simple is boring.
Tiggy is local slang for a hedgehog where she was born — from day one, her hair has always refused to behave!
Togs is an old-fashioned word for clothes, and Kathy's mum, always such a creative person, labelled her binder of knitting and sewing patterns "Tigg's Togs", so that seemed to be the perfect name when Kathy, in turn, started to create her own designs.
Kathy is now a mother herself, and spends far too much time making things for, and with, her twin boys, and not enough time designing patterns!
